Dream beach
You hear some noise in the chalet, your little one is getting ready for a day at the beach with granny and grandad!
You decide to join them later, and drift back to sleep again…
You find your family on the beach by Amfora campsite – towels, folding deck chairs, parasols; they’ve come fully equipped!
You notice Noah is already better than his grandad at beach paddleball!
The grandparents make the most of your appearance to go for a walk along the seashore.
Meanwhile, you set to building a giant sandcastle with moats, flags and even a tower as you watch out for potential pirates!
Head for Tropic Beach, the snack bar on the beach for lunch..
On the menu, Pádron peppers and Girona entrecôte! A real feast for hungry food lovers like you! In a warm, cheerful atmosphere, laughter rings out, and you clear your plates. Be sure to enjoy Mel i Mató, a delicious Catalan dessert made from fresh cheese and honey.
Back to Sant Pere Pescador beach for a short siesta in the shade.
Noah makes the most of this, burying grandad’s legs in the sand, while the latter pretends to be fast asleep…
Noah is having just as much fun in the sea and playing ball. On Sant Pere beach you have to walk forever and a day, before the water gets deep!
You make the most of it, to take fantastic family photos.
Having watched the kitesurfers dancing in the distance, you pack up camp and head back to the campsite…
You note the sun cream (SPF 50) has worked, everyone has a good tan, yet no sunburn in sight!
The swimwear is drying out, everyone is now washed, salt- and sand-free and completely exhausted!
Granny and grandad come in with tarts and quiches made earlier…No cooking tonight – pure bliss!
You sit back, relax and are waited on. Grandad talks of all the foolish things you did when you were young! Noah has stomach ache from sheer laughter! He’s so excited, you’ll have trouble putting him to bed! Fortunately, he has his new cuddly toy, Amfi, the Amfora mascot.
