River adventure

You open one eye, the sky is blue, the sun already shining, a lovely day is just beginning, and you alone already know that it will end with a flourish.
You set the table for breakfast on your mobile home terrace. This morning, you’ll have pastries and fresh-fruit salad!
It’s all finalised. The staff at the water sports centre are very kind, and ready to welcome us at 5 p.m. to explore the Fluvià river…
While you wait, the kids have gone to collect golf clubs for all the family. You dash off for a game of mini golf, before it gets too hot!
You send the children off to have fun on the thrill-seeker slides in the water park, while you prepare a generous summer salad.
After lunch, you allow yourself a siesta. Meanwhile, the kids head off like proper little grown-ups to try the pump track and Amfi Park adventure playground.
The children are delighted when they discover you’re off on a canoe trip! You climb aboard 2-man canoes and you’re already on an expedition. Despite very clear guidance from the instructors, you nearly fall in the water even before your first paddle stroke!
You are off for a 3-kilometre nature trip along the water In the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park (a wetland nature reserve). Here you paddle around Caramany Island at the mouth of the Fluvià river before reaching the Gulf of Roses, considered one of the world’s most beautiful bays.
The sunset over the water is stunning. A chance to take fantastic family photos, without dropping your telephone in the water!
Back at the campsite, you dine in the Amfora restaurant, offering no less than 4 different paellas! This evening, you long to enjoy the ‘Señorita’, with peeled gamba shrimp and cuttlefish.
