A day letting off steam!

Breakfast in the morning sunshine…Today is all about exploring and sport!
Head for the Amfora swimming pool, diving for beginners with Guaita Diving, a further campsite partner.

You’re welcomed by kind and enthusiastic instructors. After a quick equipment and safety briefing, the children are kitted out – flippers, a mask and mini scuba tank, you’re off to the depths.
The first bubbles stream forth underwater! Everyone discovers the sensation of diving at their own pace. With reassuring personalised coaching, laughter rings out each time you rise to the surface!
It takes a moment to get used to breathing underwater with the regulator. Once your initial nerves have passed, the first thrilling sensations come quickly!

Back to the mobile home for a family lunch; on the menu, mixed salad, fresh fruit and Spanish cured meats and cheeses…Whilst the adults rest, the children draw their first underwater pictures in their adventure journal. Astonishingly, all the characters are wearing wetsuits and tanks, with dozens of bubbles streaming from their mouths!

Helmets on your head, flasks full, the afternoon continues by bike. You head off on a loop around Sant Pere Pescador, through fields, orchards and small shaded trails.
The route proves flat and scenic, perfect for a trip suited to young and old alike.
Stop by the Fluvià, a calm river which meanders towards the sea. Some paddle in the water, others have a bite to eat. The children try to find animal tracks near the bank, and catch a glimpse of a heron taking flight a few metres from you.

Your last pedal strokes through the trails, reeds and apple trees either side. You go along the marshes, a view over the mountains in the distance. With a gentle breeze, you return in the company of birdsong.
The peace in nature delightfully contrasts with the campsite’s lively atmosphere!

Back at Amfora campsite, you drop the bikes and head for a well-earned shower. Afterwards, you all sit down in your deckchairs for a peaceful interlude.
After a relaxing evening meal, everyone is already in their pyjamas, a few games of UNO and you’re off to bed!
