To visit Cadaqués from our campsite, it only takes a few minutes by car, unless you wish to take a boat or sea kayak to get there!
You can also take the coastal trail by bike! You will thus be able to discover some of the Costa Brava’s loveliest inlets.

When staying on our campsite in Cadaqués, discover the town’s historic centre, with typically Catalan architecture.
It is difficult not to be seduced by its traditional area, with cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. Not forgetting the church, which stands majestically by the sea.
Cadaqués also bears witness to the splendour of the surrealist movement, to the greatest delight of art lovers. Dali’s house, overlooked by its famous eggs, opens for an amazing visit at the very heart of this famous painter’s eccentric ideas. Unconventional and atypical, the house is a reflection of the man who built it.
It is also the perfect place for Mediterranean lovers… The bay is breathtaking with its crystal-clear waters, ranging from sky blue to turquoise. Going along the promenade, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view over the town and the boats putting in to its harbour.
Just a few kilometres from Cadaqués, you can visit the Cap de Creus Natural Park, and discover the wonderful concealed inlets and beaches, such as the Platja de s’Alqueria, Platja des Jonquet or even the Platja Morell. This park is one of the most renowned of the entire Mediterranean region, along with the Aiguamolls del Empordá Natural Park.

Between Cadaqués and the Amfora campsite, feel free to stop in Roses which, besides the perfect children’s beach, houses the Museo de la Ciudadela citadel history museum. Roses also offers a water park for adults and children alike, with a wave pool, water slides, water play games, etc. Not to be missed when with children, there is also the Roses Express train which covers the Gulf of Roses bay through 5 different beauty spots.
Neither could we fail to mention the Catalan coast’s gastronomy, which you can enjoy in the countless restaurants in Cadaqués. Fish, seafood and shellfish are to the fore, as well as the Suquet de Peix Catalan fish stew, a typical dish among local fishermen. Returning to l’Amfora, you can also have lunch or dinner in one of our three eating establishments. Each enjoying a different atmosphere, from the most cosy to the most festive!
